# Sign in

> Get into Studio with the email address your organisation invited.

You sign in to Studio with the email address your organisation invited and the password you chose when you set up your account.

    Use the link in your invitation email, or the Studio address your organisation gave you.

    Type your work email.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Continue">
    Select **Continue**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter your password">
    Type your password.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Sign in">
    Select **Sign in**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter your code if asked">
    If you use two-factor authentication, enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app.

  <Step title="Verify">
    If you entered a code, select **Verify**.

Studio may also ask you to choose a new password, or to set up two-factor authentication, before it lets you in. Follow the steps on screen. Studio then opens in your workspace, and the logo at the top of the product bar takes you to your [home screen](/get-started/home).

<Tip>When you enter your code, turn on **Trust this device** and Studio stops asking for a code on that device for a while.</Tip>

If you leave Studio without using it for longer than your organisation allows, Studio takes you back to the sign-in screen, and you sign in again.

## Signing in for the first time

Your invitation email has a link to set up your account.

    Select the link in your invitation email.

  <Step title="Add your name if you want">
    If you want, add **Your name**. Your email is already filled in.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose a password">
    Enter a **Password**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm it">
    Type it again under **Confirm password**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Finish">
    Select **Set up account**.
  </Step>

If your organisation requires two-factor authentication, Studio asks you to set it up next. Then your workspace opens. If you already use Studio, the link asks for your current password instead.

Once you are in, [turn on two-factor authentication](/get-started/profile#turn-on-two-factor-authentication). It keeps your account safe even if your password is known.

## Troubleshooting

**If the invitation page says "This invite link is no longer valid",** ask the person who invited you to send a new invitation.

**If Studio says "Invalid code",** enter the code your authenticator app shows now, or select **Use a recovery code instead**.
